I have not yet discovered a way to upload a photo directly into a post. Do you have any insights on how this works in the new system? All I can figure so far is to host elsewhere and link it in.

The forum platform puts restrictions on the first five posts a newly accepted user makes. After that, you should be able to upload photos with the attach file button or embed your multimedia from most hosting sites with a copy pasta link. Example, in this reply i'm just cutting/pasting a youtube video we uploaded the other day to the site's new youtube account.

Also, registered users will have the option to attach a file after that post restriction is past. Do me a favor and reply to this message a few times and see if after five posts.

This is a test copy pasta of a picture file.

Okay, I think I have it going. To add a photo, try dragging a photo from your desktop or a subfolder directly into the post or reply windows. It should now automatically upload it.
